(More customer reviews)Pros: Bought this to replace my G500 (awesome mouse also, won't take anything away from it). This mouse is really amazing. It's pure plug and play, there is no software required. It is pretty much a barebone mouse, but it delivers quite heavily on performance. Used this with CS1.6 CS:S and CoD4, and the results have been amazing. I was doing great with the G500, I'm doing even better with this thing. Also has a really low lift off point, I was pleasantly surprised by that.
Cons: I wouldn't recommend this mouse to anyone who loves a lot of buttons and flashy gimmicks on their mouse. If you are someone who heavily customizes their mouse to meet your demands, this is not the mouse for you. There is no software at ALL, and you cannot customize anything.
There also only 3 DPI settings, 500, 1000 and 2000. I think this is perfect because I have rarely seen anyone who uses more than 1600 DPI. Those 3 DPI settings are all sweet spots that cover almost every gamer on the spectrum. However, if you like customizing your DPI settings, you're out of luck here also.
The DPI button is under the mouse, so you won't accidentally pressed it in-game.Other Thoughts: Aside from all the cons, the reason I gave this thing 5 stars is because of the performance. This thing is better than any mouse out their right now, optical or laser, in my opinion. The tracking and everything is ultra smooth, and this thing is exceptional on my Zowie SpawN GT-F(another great buy from Zowie). I would recommend this mouse to anyone. You may be turned off by the lack of features, but the performance is too good to ignore.
