(More customer reviews)I didn't know that this was a 2 piece mousepad initially. It has a 2 sided surface (one smooth and one textured), and a non-slip mat that fits the shape. It also comes with stick-on teflon feet for your mouse which make your mouse incredibly slick on this mat. I currently use the textured side because I like the way it looks on my desk better, but with my Logitec MX-1000 Laser, there are no problems tracking on either side. Overall, very smooth, very comfortable. I am not a PC gamer anymore, but I love the huge surface for my freelance design work. A+
