(More customer reviews)This is my third IOGear switch over the past 8 years, and I wanted something to allow me to use my work laptop with my new Dell XPS9000 with a 22inch 1080P monitor. My laptop has a DVI port and the Dell has an HDMI. I opted for the HDMI KVM switch based upon the reviews and the capability to use USB switching as separate instances not tied to the KVM switching. I had to get a DVI to HDMI adapter for the laptop, and that works great. With this switch you can switch just the KVM instance, the USB instance, or all instances to whichever computer you choose. The only downside is when I switch all instances to another computer, my speaker makes a pop noise that drives my dog crazy. Aside from that, this is well worth the money and I highly recommend it.
