(More customer reviews)In rating this product, I find myself at a loss because I do not consider a mouse fun, so much as a necessity for modern computer applications. With this said, I would rate this product 4 out of 5 stars. And so I will explain now.
The Raptor-Gaming LM2 is a small mouse, produced in China and marketed in Germany, the United States, and the UK.
The mouse is somewhat small, and may need a little time to get used to. It is also wired, thus saving the user from the need to purchase batteries for similar mice that are wireless.
The Raptor-Gaming LM2 is black with textured side grips. It has a forward and backward button on the left side, slightly higher than some other mice. As a result, this product is geared towards right-handed people or perhaps lefties with a really well adapted pinky finger.
There are also the typical buttons common to Windows mice; Left, Right, and Wheel/Center. There is an LED light below the wheel indicating the dPI level. When the light is off, the mouse is at 500 dPI. When the light is the brightest, the mouse is at 2000 dPI. And at the dim setting, the mouse is at 1000 dPI. The mouse is also optic, so there's no roller-ball to get clogged.
There are a few features that are lacking in this product. The wheel lacks the ability to side-scroll. And the mouse's dPI settings are not something that can be saved. Loss of power to your computer will mean that the mouse will reset to 500 dPI.
I have grown accustomed to the side-scrolling feature in previous mice, and miss it. But aside from that, this is a nice mouse good enough for everyday use and gaming.
