(More customer reviews)This little BT mouse is awesome! Using it with my lenovo Y550 laptop. The buttons are solid when pressing them, no high pitch "click" sound like a Logitech has, but more like a firm "click" sound. I know that makes no sense probably. But take my word for it, it's not the same as my old Logitech mouse. The scroll wheel is perfect with its rubberized feel it almost grabs your finger. The mouse is somewhat small, but that was to be expected for a laptop mouse. Actual dimensions: H=3cm, L=9.5cm, W=5.5cm. Fits in your pocket well.
Which brings me to the reason I call it a small tank. Carrying this little mouse around my house with my laptop, I have dropped it (the mouse) twice now. Dropped on hardwood floor, not carpet. Didn't hurt. But now I switch it off and put it in my pocket while traveling around.
The mouse software suite doesn't have the pretty GUI that Logitech uses, but it is still functional none the less. I have found that you basically set up your mouse how you like it one time, then never open that software again. Am I right? So, the software lets you do all the same things as the Logitech software: swap buttons, increase/decrease scroll wheel, etc. etc. I use my computer for CAD programs and the mouse is fully functional.
I've been using it for almost two months now with the same batteries that came with it in the box. I wasn't sure about how long the batteries would last since it is using BT, but it's ok with me. A LOT of people complain about the bluetooth dying on them or having connectivity go on/off all the time, etc etc. The problem is not the mouse, it's a setting in Windows. Until you figure that out, you basically want to throw the mouse out a window. Here's how you fix the problem in Windows 7:
1. open Device Manager.
2. open Bluetooth Radios menu.
3. go to your Bluetooth driver (not the Microsoft one).
4. go to Power Management tab.
5. UNcheck the box "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".
