(More customer reviews)I needed to elevate a monstrous HP DV8 laptop, which has an 18.4 inch screen. This seems to be the only stand on the market that can accomodate something over 17 inches wide. It is very sturdy and well-built. A neatly tucked USB cable is built in and is the primary means of connecting the wireless keyboard and the USB Hub. Only inconveniences: a) the stand is up or down and not fully adjustable; and b) the stand blocks the front of the laptop preventing IR remote access on mine.
The keyboard is well-above average, with ample wrist rest and multi-media functions. It has all the necessary functionality (including volume control and video/audio playback functions), along with good signal reach and low power consumption (I haven't changed the batteries yet, after two months use).
Overall, this is a solid buy. I couldn't be happier. Just add a mouse and you're good to go.
